Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Burns (ranked 5170 p4p, 5785 weight class) and Remy Bon (ranked 505 p4p, 537 weight class). Jason Burns had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 206.7lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jason Burns!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Remy Bon!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burns misses with a takedown
and Bon connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Bon misses with a head kick.
Burns tries for a takedown but Bon circles away easily
and Bon makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Burns is breathing heavily.
Bon ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Bon tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Burns tries to close the distance and clinch but Bon swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Bon throws a head kick but Burns moves out of range.
Bon pushes Burns away with a front kick.
Bon throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Burns's head.
It looks like Jason Burns has been cut.
Burns takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Burns misses with a takedown
and Bon counters with a left to the body.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jason Burns. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bon lands with an uppercut that bounces Burns off the cage and back into range.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bon ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Burns avoids the head kick by Bon.
Bon has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Bon lands a glancing blow to the side of Burns's head.
A right-left combo lands from Bon.
Bon lands a left and a right that send Burns crashing to the mat, dazed. Bon thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Burns is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bon lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Oh Burns is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Burns looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Bon throws a front kick that sends Burns stumbling back into the cage.
Nice body punch from Bon.
Bon lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Burns falls backwards - clearly groggy! Bon dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Remy Bon!
