Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 52 - 43 - 5, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kugus Amiga!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 42 - 55 - 6, fighting out of Las Vegas, Helen Salvacion!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Amiga misses with a takedown attempt
and Salvacion counters with a body kick that stops Amiga in his tracks momentarily.
Amiga looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Salvacion is fending him off so far but Amiga persists. Nope, Salvacion circles away and we're back to standing.
Salvacion with the counter takedown but Amiga avoids it easily.
Salvacion thows a body kick. Amiga tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Salvacion slaps away a takedown attempt from Amiga, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Salvacion was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.

Amiga is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Salvacion can do to turn this around?

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Amiga with a poor takedown
and Salvacion makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Amiga really felt that one!
Salvacion shoots in looking for a takedown. Amiga tries to sprawl out of it but Salvacion keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Amiga manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Amiga closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Salvacion to the mat! Salvacion manages to get full guard.

Salvacion wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Amiga is now in half guard.
Kugus Amiga overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Salvacion keeping control of the position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Amiga controlling the action here.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup.
Amiga trying to mount his opponent but Salvacion defends it.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
