Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gunner Justice (ranked 5863 p4p, 5435 weight class) and Antoine Vargas (ranked 507 p4p, 489 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gunner Justice!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Antoine Vargas!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Wesley Smith and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vargas misses with a head kick.
Justice motions for Vargas to come forward. Justice throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Vargas keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Vargas tests Justice's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Justice gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Vargas pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Justice takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Vargas lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Justice sprawling to the canvas. Vargas follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Justice hang on?
Justice is rocked!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Justice is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Oh Justice is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Justice definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Still in half guard, Vargas seems content to control.
Justice seems to have got his legs back now.
Vargas has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Xtreme Fighting Gym. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Vargas blocks the strikes from Justice.

Justice tries to roll over but Vargas keeps him under control.
Justice is doing well to control the position and prevent Vargas from advancing to side control.
The fighters are battling for position here. Justice manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Vargas stops Justice from standing up.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Justice moves in looking to clinch but Vargas pushes him off.
Vargas misses with the combination.
A solid body kick from Vargas.
Vargas throws a sloppy head kick and Justice moves out of range easily.
Vargas's corner calls for a 1-2. Vargas obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Justice tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Vargas was well out of range. Poor timing from Justice.
As Justice backs off Vargas throws a huge counter combo but Justice manages to avoid it all.
Justice gets the takedown into side control.
Vargas is trying to work for a sweep but Justice has mounted him!
Vargas is squirming around, avoiding Justice's attempts to control the action.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Justice sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Justice throws some wild stikes that Vargas manages to avoid easily.
Justice thowing shots but they're missing.
Vargas is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round.

Justice trying to control but Vargas is having none of it.
Justice throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Justice is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Vargas is surviving well by controlling Justice's body position as best he can.
The referee warns Vargas that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Vargas scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Justice doesn't seem bothered though.

Justice is trying hard to land a takedown here. Vargas sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Justice walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Vargas works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Justice shoots in for a takedown but Vargas shows good takedown defense.
Justice will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gunner Justice. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Justice tries to close the distance and clinch up but Vargas swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Vargas lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Vargas lands a brutal head kick. Justice looks out on his feet and Vargas throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
