Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kamso Kane (ranked 5709 p4p, 4352 weight class) and Liam Weaver (ranked 487 p4p, 442 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kamso Kane! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Liam Weaver! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Weaver slaps away a takedown attempt from Kane, before circling back to the center of the mat. Weaver throws a series of punches but Kane moves out of range. A big right from Weaver misses. Weaver throws out a loose jab but Kane uses good head movement to avoid it. Weaver misses with a hook. Kane drops down looking for a counter takedown but Weaver sprawls and moves away. Kane slips a straight right by Weaver. Kane shoots in but no luck this time. Weaver has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Weaver misses with a wild combination.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Weaver throws a right and a left that both miss. Weaver stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Weaver wants it to stay on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kamso Kane. That's going to take a lot out of him. Weaver lands with a hook. Kane tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
It looks like Kamso Kane has been cut. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kane is defended easily by Weaver.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kane fails to land the takedown. Kane fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Kane dives in for a single leg takedown but Weaver sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Weaver drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Kane defends it well. Kane is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Weaver gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Weaver prevents a takedown attempt there.
Kane is breathing heavily. Kane drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Weaver gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Weaver stops a takedown attempt from Kane.
Kane wants to take the fight to the mat but Weaver manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kane is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Weaver pulls him back up using the underhooks. Weaver escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Weaver lands a left and a right that send Kane crashing to the mat, dazed. Weaver thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Kane is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Weaver cracks Kane with a left hook right on the temple and Kane goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Weaver lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Kane is OK!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Liam Weaver!
