Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kharkat Rahmanko (ranked 1959 p4p, 1605 weight class) and Franciszek Zukowski (ranked 247 p4p, 204 weight class). Franciszek Zukowski has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rahmanko clinches up with Zukowski and pushes him back against the cage.
We've been hearing reports that Rahmanko has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Rahmanko scores with a shot to the side of Zukowski's head.
Rahmanko throws a punch but it's blocked by Zukowski.

Zukowski tries to pull guard but Rahmanko won't allow it.

Zukowski breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Rahmanko decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Zukowski working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Rahmanko doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Rahmanko manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Zukowski wants to sweep here but Rahmanko controlling him for the moment.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Zukowski lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Zukowski is looking to take a break and control but Rahmanko is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Rahmanko swats away the attempt to clinch by Zukowski.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Kharkat Rahmanko will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

It looks like Franciszek Zukowski has been cut.
Rahmanko missing with a left hand there. Zukowski was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Zukowski throws out a leg kick but Rahmanko moves out of range and Zukowski only half commits.
No luck for Zukowski with that takedown attempt.
Rahmanko looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.

Rahmanko tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Zukowski manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Rahmanko lands a left and a right that send Zukowski crashing to the mat, dazed. Rahmanko thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Rahmanko drops Zukowski with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Zukowski! Rahmanko dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
