Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, DeMarcus Slice!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ayden Lopez!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Reed Andrews and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slice throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Slice shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lopez sprawls well. Lopez wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Slice gets slowly back to his feet.
Despite the aggression on Lopez's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Lopez.
Lopez displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Slice.
Slice misses with a takedown attempt
and Lopez counters with a lovely straight right hand!
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for DeMarcus Slice. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Slice shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Lopez defends it nicely.
Slice darts in and clinches Lopez up against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lopez breaks from the clinch.
A big right from Lopez misses.
Slice tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lopez sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Slice somewhat.

Lopez is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Slice with a body shot.
Slice shoots in for a double leg but Lopez sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Lopez let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Slice shoots in but Lopez avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Slice throws out a leg kick but Lopez moves out of range and Slice only half commits.
A little jabbing left from Lopez on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Slice attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
A head kick from Lopez lands but Slice takes it in his stride.
It looks like DeMarcus Slice has been cut.
Slice tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Lopez swivels and escapes.
Slice has his takedown stuffed
and Lopez counters with a head kick that wobbles Slice - left then right he sways and one more bomb from Lopez sends him down. This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ayden Lopez!
