Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bob Michigan (ranked 5310 p4p, 5323 weight class) and Ryan Garcia (ranked 359 p4p, 361 weight class). Garcia has chosen Oceans as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Michigan on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Garcia wants to clinch up but Michigan keeps it at a distance.
Michigan throws a hook but Garcia blocks it.
Garcia tries to clinch but Michigan is having none of it.

Garcia gets caught napping as Michigan dives in and scores a takedown. Garcia manages to retain guard.
Garcia really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Michigan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Michigan lands a couple of elbows.
Michigan has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Michigan seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Garcia for as long as he can get away with.

Michigan lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Michigan cracks Garcia with an elbow. That is naaassty.

Michigan scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Garcia is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Michigan can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!

After winning the bout, Bob Michigan thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
