Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Juan Barjuan (ranked 3802 p4p, 5236 weight class) and Pedri Popicho (ranked 297 p4p, 356 weight class). Juan Barjuan has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Juan Barjuan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Pedri Popicho! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Steve Montenegro and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice shot lands for Popicho. A jab from Popicho finds it's way through Barjuan's defenses. Barjuan throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Popicho was covering up waiting for the punch and Barjuan finishes the takedown easily into guard. Barjuan looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Popicho with a short hammerfist. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Popicho wants it to stay on the feet. Barjuan tries to clinch but fails miserably and Popicho counters with a straight right hand. Pedri Popicho seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Barjuan takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Popicho works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Popicho throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Popicho lands a nice hook to Barjuan's body. Barjuan takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Popicho scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Barjuan doesn't seem bothered though.

Popicho dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Popicho!
It looks like Juan Barjuan has been cut. Barjuan tries for a takedown but Popicho circles away easily and Popicho connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Popicho lands a nice shot to the body.
Barjuan shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Barjuan is rocked! Barjuan takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Oh Barjuan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Barjuan gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Popicho gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Barjuan is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
