Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yoshihiro Kido (ranked 4378 p4p, 4317 weight class) and Tadamasa Yamada (ranked 469 p4p, 462 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Yoshihiro Kido! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tadamasa Yamada! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Chad Campbell and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yamada takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Yamada avoids the head kick by Kido.
Kido lands the left hand. Yamada checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Kido scores with a hook to the body. Yamada takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Kido seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Kido lands a jab to Yamada's midsection. Kido misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kido throws a body punch but Yamada moves out of range. Kido looks to score with a jab to the body but Yamada is just out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. No joy there for Kido, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Yamada throws a right hand that Kido ducks under and follows up with a left that Kido also avoids with ease. Kido looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Nice cross by Kido. Kido swings for the body but Yamada moves out of range.
Yamada throws out a counter right but Kido avoids it with no problem. Yamada takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Despite the aggression on Yamada's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Kido is looking to wear down Yamada with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. A head kick misses from Kido. Yamada looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kido is looking to improve his position.
Kido looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Yamada is trying to work for a kimura but Kido is defending well.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Kido is looking for a sweep. Yamada is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kido has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Yamada is working away from the top position though. Yamada is looking for a kimura but Kido is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Yamada to get the leverage. Yamada is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Kido sees it coming and defends easily. Yamada wants to stand up but Kido has a hold of him and won't allow it. Yamada should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kido is looking for a sweep. Yamada is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Yamada throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Yamada missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Yamada is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Kido is pressing down on Yamada's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Kido keeping full guard, as Yamada tries to pass. Kido looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Kido not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Kido working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Yamada doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Yamada manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Kido is trying to keep Yamada in close.
Yamada wants to stand but Kido has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Yamada throws a strike but Kido rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Kido forces his way into half guard. Yamada tries to kick Kido off but Kido keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Kido is figuring out what he wants to do next. Kido's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Kido is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Yamada has managed to free his arm - good work. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Kido is working for a submission of some sort.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Yamada is trying to stand back up but Kido is controlling him

Kido is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Kido wants to lay and pray for a moment but Yamada keeps working.
That's six minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Yamada avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Kido. Kido wants to work for an arm triangle but Yamada is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Kido seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Yamada does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Yamada tries to kick Kido off but Kido keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Kido swings away with a leg kick that misses. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Yamada takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Kido lands a right hook to the body.
Kido pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Yamada throws out a counter right but Kido avoids it with no problem. Kido scores with a nice strike. Kido connects with a body shot that sends Yamada's belly button to the back. An inside leg kick from Kido misses. Yamada misses with a double jab.
Kido drops down looking for a counter takedown but Yamada sprawls and moves away.
That's eight minutes gone in the round. Yamada swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Kido counters by clinching up. Yamada misses with a short punch on the inside. Yamada has hold of one of Kido's legs. Kido is fighting the takedown attempt but Yamada gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Kido is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Yamada rolls with it to try and escape but Kido cranks on the arm and Yamada is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
