Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between JB Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Dan Williams was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Williams throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Penn lands with a thumping leg kick.
Williams throws a nice looking combination but Penn bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Williams drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Williams decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Penn stuffs the takedown attempt from Williams. Williams gets slowly back to his feet. Williams lands with a nice combination. Penn backs away looking to recover. Penn showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Williams.
Penn shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Williams defends it nicely. Williams shoots and misses and Penn counters with a single leg into guard. Williams didn't expect that. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Penn slips nicely into half guard. Penn wants to lay and pray for a moment but Williams keeps working. Penn tries to pass to full mount but Williams defends it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Williams trying to hold on to Penn's head to control him but Penn postures up.
Penn is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Williams sees it coming and defends easily. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Penn tries to pass to full mount but Williams defends it. Williams is looking to control Penn's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Williams avoid being mounted? Williams is defending against the submission attempts here by Penn.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Penn is trying to control the action in half guard but Williams is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Penn is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Penn wants to clinch. Williams fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Penn shoots in for a takedown but Williams shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Williams smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Williams fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Penn sprawls well initially but Williams persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Penn wants to improve his position but Williams is controlling well.
Williams seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Penn does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Williams looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Williams missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Williams decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Nice takedown defense from Williams. No joy for Penn on that attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for JB Penn. That's going to take a lot out of him. Penn shoots in for a double leg but Williams sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Williams fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Penn avoids it really well and circles away. Williams throws a right hand that Penn ducks under and follows up with a left that Penn also avoids with ease. Penn is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Williams. Williams throws a leg kick and Penn counters with a nice double leg into guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Penn wants to control from the top but Williams keeps moving. Williams has control of Penn's left arm, preventing Penn from doing any damage. Williams looking for a guillotine here but Penn defends easily.
Williams has his feet on Penn's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Williams misses with a looping left. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Williams shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Williams was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Penn is squirming around, avoiding Williams's attempts to control the action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dan Williams dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Penn closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Williams to the mat! Williams manages to get full guard. Williams is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Penn trying to control the position from guard on top but Williams is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Williams pushes Penn off and scrambles back to his feet.
Williams shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Penn manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Dan Williams has got the better of the ground game so far. Penn wants to sweep here but Williams controlling him for the moment. Penn has Williams pulled in close to control his posture. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Penn has his foot on Williams's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Williams works his way back into a safe position though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Williams controls from within his opponent's guard. Penn escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Williams gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Williams is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Williams slips nicely into half guard. Williams is trying to control the action in half guard but Penn is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Penn is looking to improve his position.
Williams is keen to just control but Penn is a slippery customer.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Williams tries to pass to full mount but Penn defends it. Penn has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Williams is working away from the top position though. Well, if Williams is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Penn needs to keep his hands up - Williams had a free shot at his head there. Williams has his takedown stuffed and Penn counters with a single leg into guard. Williams didn't expect that.

Williams can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Penn is looking to escape. Penn tries to hold on but Williams postures up. Williams trying to control but Penn is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Penn really wants to buck Williams off and get back to his feet. Williams stands up from mount. Strange move. Williams gets the takedown into side control. Penn tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Williams wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Williams tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Williams has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Williams content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Penn is looking to regain half guard here but Williams keeps moving and retains side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Dan Williams will probably get the nod - 10:9. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Williams looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Williams throws a series of punches but Penn avoids them all with ease. Penn shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Williams as he jumps to the side. Williams scoring well with a low kick there.
A combination from Williams does no damage. Excellent takedown into side control there by Williams.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Penn tries to get back to half guard but can't. Williams decides to take the fight back to the feet. Williams scores with a takedown into Penn's guard. Williams sitting in guard, not really doing much. Williams trying to control but Penn is working from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! Dan Williams comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Williams has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
