Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Stevan Micic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Deebo Drummond!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drummond works Micic's body with a nice hook.
Drummond throws a body punch but Micic moves out of range.
Micic tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Drummond was well out of range. Poor timing from Micic.
Drummond scores with a nice right hand.
It looks like Stevan Micic has been cut.
Drummond fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Micic is out of range.
Drummond loads up on a big right hand but Micic slips the punch.
Micic throws a right hand that misses
and Drummond counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Micic changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Drummond feints and then cracks Micic's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Micic down.
Micic cracks Drummond with a good jab.
Drummond throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Drummond scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Micic swats away the attempt to clinch by Drummond.
Micic ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Drummond stuns Micic with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Drummond lands a left and a right that send Micic crashing to the mat, dazed. Drummond thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Micic takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Micic is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Drummond fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Micic to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Micic looks to clinch but Drummond throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Micic taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
