Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sergio Miller!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chidike lands the left hand.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Chidike.
Miller is looking to get back to his feet here but Chidike is keeping cool and he's managed to take Miller's back.
Miller is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Miller takes a big shot to the side of the head.
Chidike is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Miller knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Miller for a finish.
Chidike cracks Miller with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Miller from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.

Chidike has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Chidike lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Miller.
Miller just trying to survive but Chidike is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
Chidike connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Miller to escape the position.
Chidike scores with some strikes to the side of the head there. Good, points scoring shots.
Miller is rocked!
Chidike lands strikes from the back and Miller isn't doing enough to escape the position. The referee steps in to end the fight.

Nyongesa Chidike decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
