Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Braylon Mason!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Krispen Chace!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Taro Takaoka and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mason with the inside leg kick.
Chace wants to clinch
and Mason counters with a big head kick but Chace shrugs it off.
Mason throws a head kick that misses
and Chace counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Mason gets a takedown into half guard.
Chace pushes Mason off and gets back to his feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Chace cracks Mason with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Mason moves forwards but Chace connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Chace looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Mason shoots in looking for a takedown but Chace manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Mason's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Chace drives through and clinches with Mason against the cage.
A short body shot lands from Chace as the two fighters clinch.

Mason takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Chace ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Chace no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Mason manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Chace on his heels. He'll look to pass Chace's guard now, I'm sure.

Mason shoots for a double leg takedown but Chace sprawls well. He's pushed Mason's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Mason looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
