And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cervantes lands with a nice body punch.
Cervantes comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Jab from Cervantes.
Cervantes throws a half hearted mid kick.
Decent striking displayed by Cervantes there.
A leg kick checked by McWanker.
Cervantes connects with a body shot that sends McWanker's belly button to the back.

Cervantes gets caught napping as McWanker dives in and scores a takedown. Cervantes manages to retain guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Cervantes can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as McWanker controls the pace.
Cervantes looking for a sweep. Not yet Cervantes, not yet.
Cervantes preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Cervantes can do anything to dispel that myth.
McWanker wants to pass the guard but Cervantes is keeping the position.
McWanker's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Cervantes is trying to keep McWanker in close.
McWanker postures up in Cervantes's guard and throws a big left but Cervantes blocks it.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Cervantes working a defensive guard but McWanker passes into half guard.

McWanker is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Cervantes is just riding it out for now. McWanker eventually gives up the hold.
Cervantes is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
McWanker passes the guard and advances to mount!

McWanker working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Cervantes looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by McWanker! Submission of the night perhaps?
