Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 28 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jacob Song! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ricardo Diaz! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Gregory Folan and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A jab from Diaz does it's job there. Diaz misses with a double jab
and Song counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Ricardo Diaz has been cut. Diaz throws a leg kick which misses Song's front leg but catches the back leg as Song tries to avoid it. Song closes the distance and catches Diaz with a lead hook that drops him to the canvas! Diaz is clearly dazed and struggling here! 3,4,5,6,7 and Diaz is up to his feet but the referee has called it off! Diaz is still far too wobbly and he's not going to allow the fight to continue! Song takes it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Jacob Song! The defeated Ricardo Diaz had this to say: 'I don't accept this! The fight's outcome? A sham! Every blow I dealt was a testament to my dominance. They can keep their trophy; my spirit remains undefeated. This isn't over, not by a long shot!'.
