Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Peter Gavao!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nuno Carvalho!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gavao scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
It looks like Nuno Carvalho has been cut.
A big left from Gavao misses.
Carvalho looks to land a body kick but Gavao moved away.
Gavao lands with a shot to the body.
Gavao throws a body punch but Carvalho moves out of range.

Gavao cracks Carvalho with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Gavao has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Carvalho to stand back up!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Carvalho takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
A punch lands to the side of Carvalho 's head but he takes it in his stride.

We've been told by Gavao's head coaches at Tea Time Takedowns that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Gavao ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Carvalho's jaw. Carvalho's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Gavao does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Peter Gavao!
