The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Joseph Jones and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jacobson throws a jab when Waterman was well out of range.
Jacobson scores with a hook.
Waterman has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Waterman there as he acknowledges the shot.
A slow jab from Jacobson misses its intended target.
Waterman changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Jacobson gets caught napping as Waterman dives in and scores a takedown. Jacobson manages to retain guard.
Jacobson wants to stand but Waterman is controlling the position.
Waterman thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Waterman tries to free his leg and advance position but Jacobson is retaining full guard.
Jacobson not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Jacobson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Waterman on the ground.

Waterman is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Jacobson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Waterman is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Jacobson is trying to escape and Waterman transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Jacobson is forced to tap! Nice work there by Waterman! Very nice indeed!
