Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marcoh Haas (ranked 3401 p4p, 3708 weight class) and Kyoto Costa (ranked 376 p4p, 395 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marcoh Haas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kyoto Costa!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Paul Gruel and Colin Fray.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Costa shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Costa slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Haas tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Costa gets tackled into the cage by Haas. Haas maintains the clinch.
Costa lands a right hand.
Costa effectively controlling the action here.
Haas wants to break free but Costa has control.
Costa lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Haas or not.
A frustrated look appears on Haas's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Costa keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Haas's efforts to push away.
Haas blocks a body shot from Costa.
Haas is trying to break the clinch but Costa has him pressed against the cage.
Haas wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Haas is trying to force a seperation but Costa has the dominant position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Costa lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Haas drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Costa gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Costa breaks from the clinch.
Haas takes a body punch but keeps moving.
The fighters circle momentarily. Costa darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Sloppy strikes from Haas. Those never looked like landing.
Marcoh Haas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Haas tries to clinch there but Costa circles away.
Haas gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Haas tries to bum rush Costa with a series of wild strikes but Costa uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Haas takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Costa avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A little jabbing left from Costa on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Costa tries to clinch up but Haas circles away and keeps his distance.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Haas misses with an uppercut.
Haas tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Costa paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Haas fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Haas misses with the combination.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Haas moves in looking to clinch but Costa pushes him off.
Sloppy strikes from Haas. Those never looked like landing.
Haas backing away here, and Costa unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
Good standup being displayed there by Costa as he connects with a hook.

It looks like Marcoh Haas has been cut.
Haas takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Haas is rocked!
Haas circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Costa. Haas falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Costa!
