Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hideo Tokoro (ranked 1594 p4p, 1167 weight class) and Colin Nox (ranked 212 p4p, 154 weight class). Tokoro comes into the arena with Blksmiith - Gore-Tex Covers my Soul blaring out of the sound system. Nox has chosen Mobb Deep - Shook Ones as his entrance music. Colin Nox has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hideo Tokoro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Colin Nox!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Micheangelo Fripello and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tokoro scores with a jab to the jaw.
Nox doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Tokoro has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Nox shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Tokoro misses with a left hand
and Nox counters with a series of strikes. Tokoro will be more careful next time no doubt.
Tokoro throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Tokoro slaps away a takedown attempt from Nox, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Nox moves forwards but Tokoro connects with a nice, crisp jab.

and Nox counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Despite the aggression on Nox's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Nox misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Nox shoots in looking for a takedown. Tokoro tries to sprawl out of it but Nox keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tokoro manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Nox manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Tokoro on his heels. He'll look to pass Tokoro's guard now, I'm sure.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Hideo Tokoro.
I think Tokoro has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
