Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mimo Mosa (ranked 3100 p4p, 24776 weight class) and Simon Adams (ranked 379 p4p, 570 weight class). Simon Adams will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Simon Adams!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Micheangelo Fripello and Jeff Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adams misses with a looping right.
Adams connects with a crisp jab.
Adams has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Adams throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Mosa stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Adams looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Mosa seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Adams!
Mosa takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Mosa moves into the clinch.
Mosa tries to land a knee to the head but Adams blocks with his arms.

Mosa breaks the clinch.
Adams thuds a left hand into Mosa's body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Adams lands a nice hook to Mosa's body. Mosa takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Adams lands a body shot.

Adams gets tackled into the cage by Mosa. Mosa maintains the clinch.
Mosa is pushing Adams up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Adams wants to break the clinch but can't.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Adams blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Adams tries to break the clinch but Mosa is controlling the position.
Mosa prevents Adams from breaking the clinch.

Mosa pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Adams jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Mosa with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Adams to score with a decent uppercut.
A cross from Adams lands.
Mosa uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Adams.
Mosa attempts a counter takedown but Adams avoids it well and moves away.
Mosa definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Mosa tries to move into range but Adams moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Adams lands a nice hook to Mosa's body. Mosa takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Mosa instigates a clinch.

Adams manages to break the clinch.
Adams misses with a wild combination.

Mosa throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Adams tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Mosa is in Adams's guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mosa preventing the sweep.
Adams wants to get back to his feet but Mosa is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Mosa throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Adams works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Mosa looking to pass the guard.
Adams can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Mosa controls the pace.
Mosa trying to stand up but can't free himself from Adams's guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mosa drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Adams manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Mosa has Adams in his guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Mosa striking off his back but it's not causing Adams any problems.
Mosa is adopting a defensive guard.
Adams wants to stand but Mosa has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Mosa is pulling down on Adams's head to control his posture.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Adams's jab looks to have found its range, popping Mosa under the eye.
Adams thuds his shin into the meat of Mosa's side.
Adams connects with a body shot.
Mosa takes a body punch but keeps moving.
A punch lands to the side of Mosa 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Mosa throws a head kick but Adams moves out of range.
Adams thinks about the counter body kick.
Adams scores with a one two! Mosa had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Mosa is rocked!
Adams scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Mosa doesn't seem bothered though.
Oh Mosa is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mosa is breathing heavily.
Adams works Mosa's body with a nice hook.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Simon Adams dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Mosa takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Adams lands with a shot to the body.
Adams walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Mosa drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Adams swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Mosa's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:13 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Simon Adams!
Simon Adams decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
