Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Second Lighter (ranked 25585 p4p, 3432 weight class) and Ekon Ogunkoya (ranked 238 p4p, 167 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Second Lighter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ekon Ogunkoya! The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Daniel Franklin and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lighter blocks a head kick by Ogunkoya.
Ogunkoya throws a combination that misses and Lighter counters with a straight right hand. Nice body kick from Ogunkoya. Lighter moves forwards but Ogunkoya connects with a nice, crisp jab. Ogunkoya throws a sloppy body shot
and Lighter counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Ogunkoya scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Ogunkoya throws a right hand that Lighter ducks under and follows up with a left that Lighter also avoids with ease. Ogunkoya takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Ogunkoya throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. A telegraphed right hand from Ogunkoya misses the target. Ekon Ogunkoya seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. No joy there for Ogunkoya, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ogunkoya throws an overhand right that lands on Lighter's shoulder, as Lighter tries to avoid the shot. Lighter is looking for a counter combo.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ogunkoya swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Lighter counters with a straight right hand. Ogunkoya tests Lighter's chin there with a solid looking shot. Ogunkoya ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lighter moves away. Ogunkoya throws a series of strikes that have Lighter backpedaling.
It's a brutal combination of punches from Ogunkoya! Lighter is backing up but he can't get away as Ogunkoya lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Lighter and ends the fight. Great knockout.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Ekon Ogunkoya! Ekon Ogunkoya was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed. Second Lighter was interviewed post fight and said 'I'll be back!'.
