Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dylan Smith (ranked 3113 p4p, 2195 weight class) and Leopold Strauss (ranked 215 p4p, 163 weight class). Smith comes to the cage accompanied by Heave Away- The Fables. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dylan Smith!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Leopold Strauss!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Ackerman and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith fails with the takedown
and Strauss counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Strauss paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Nice straight punches there by Strauss. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Strauss.

Smith manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Strauss on his heels. He'll look to pass Strauss's guard now, I'm sure.
Smith throws a strike but Strauss rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Strauss wants to get up but he can't break Smith's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Smith cracks Strauss with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Smith immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Strauss is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Smith!

After winning the bout, Dylan Smith thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
