Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Derek Blueboy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gerald Humpdywonk!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Daniel Bishop and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blueboy shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Humpdywonk pinned against the cage. Humpdywonk gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Blueboy gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Humpdywonk tries to pull guard but Blueboy holds him up against the cage and eventually Humpdywonk drops back down to his feet.

Blueboy darts in and clinches Humpdywonk up against the cage.

Blueboy fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Humpdywonk shoots in looking for a takedown. Blueboy tries to sprawl out of it but Humpdywonk keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Blueboy manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Humpdywonk is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Humpdywonk can do anything to dispel that myth.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Blueboy connects with a nice short shot to Humpdywonk's temple.

Blueboy is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Humpdywonk can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Blueboy is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Humpdywonk is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Humpdywonk flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Blueboy anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Humpdywonk and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Blueboy slips an arm under Humpdywonk chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Blueboy has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Blueboy is squeezing on Humpdywonk like an anaconda would it's prey. Humpdywonk fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
