Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Seregei Romanov (ranked 3713 p4p, 3290 weight class) and First Lighter (ranked 183 p4p, 163 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Seregei Romanov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, First Lighter! The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Daniel Franklin and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Romanov misses with a shot to the body and Lighter counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Lighter gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Romanov to score an easy takedown into full guard. Romanov seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Romanov will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Lighter has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Romanov has passed into side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lighter trying to remain calm as Romanov controls from the top position. Lighter tries to buck Romanov off but Romanov is having none of it. Lighter can't do much from the bottom here. Romanov wants to control but Lighter is keeping him busy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lighter is trying to control Romanov's posture but Romanov avoids it. Romanov just content to control the position. Romanov trying to control the action but Lighter is working from the bottom. Romanov taking a breather here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lighter can do anything to dispel that myth. Lighter wants to control but Romanov postures up. Romanov tries for a kimura but Lighter is defending well. Romanov controlling from side mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Romanov wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Lighter, who protects the arm well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lighter is not content to let Romanov control the position. Romanov tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Lighter is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Romanov is controlling him well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Romanov has an Americana. Lighter didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Romanov is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Romanov hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Seregei Romanov! In defeat, First Lighter stepped up to the mic, saying 'I'll be back!'.
