The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Willemoes throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
James lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

It looks like Christian Willemoes has been cut.
James throws a nice head kick!
Willemoes tries to clinch up.
James should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
A jab from Willemoes misses.
James pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Willemoes avoids the head kick by James.
Willemoes throws a sloppy head kick and James moves out of range easily.
James throws a head kick that misses
and Willemoes counters with a stiff right hand.

James drops Willemoes with a beautiful combination! Willemoes stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - James is looking for the KO!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! James crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Willemoes - the referee stops the clock and James gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Willemoes. James manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Whack! Willemoes lands a heavy head kick that drops James. The ref tackles Willemoes to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because James was done.
