Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Roydell Gibbons!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gavrilo Jovanovic!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Alec Ball and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jovanovic uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Gibbons.
Gibbons throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Jovanovic unleashes a big counter combination but Gibbons bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Gibbons is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
It looks like Roydell Gibbons has been cut.

Gibbons was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Gibbons clobbers Jovanovic with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Jovanovic moves away from the strike by Gibbons.
Jovanovic tries to clinch but Gibbons is having none of it.
It looked like Gibbons wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Gibbons throws out a loose jab but Jovanovic uses good head movement to avoid it.
Gibbons walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Gibbons walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Gibbons fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jovanovic manages to avoid it.

and Gibbons counters with a nice uppercut.

Jovanovic changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gibbons tries to avoid it but Jovanovic manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gibbons to the ground. Gibbons escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jovanovic goes for a takedown attempt but Gibbons pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Gibbons enables Jovanovic to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Gibbons manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Gibbons looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Gibbons is looking for a triangle but Jovanovic pushes his legs off easily.

Gibbons has momentary wrist control but Jovanovic slips an elbow through the middle.
Gibbons utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Jovanovic lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jovanovic stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Gibbons throws up his legs and catches Jovanovic in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Jovanovic tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Gibbons! That came out of nowhere!
