Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Messiah Wyatt (ranked 2727 p4p, 2906 weight class) and Aziz Karaoglu (ranked 320 p4p, 342 weight class). Aziz Karaoglu will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Sosuke Kotani and Shirou Masuda.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wyatt takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Karaoglu swings widly with a right hand

and Wyatt counters with a takedown into side control.
Karaoglu wants to control but Wyatt postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wyatt is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Karaoglu has escaped the position, nice work there.

Wyatt looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Wyatt trying to control the action but Karaoglu is working from the bottom.
Wyatt is chipping away with strikes.

Karaoglu is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Wyatt sees it coming and defends easily.
Wyatt throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

Karaoglu really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wyatt. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Wyatt is positioning himself well to prevent Karaoglu advancing to mount.
Wyatt is trying to maintain the position but Karaoglu is very close to passing his half guard.
Wyatt flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Karaoglu seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Wyatt does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wyatt is looking to control Karaoglu's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Wyatt avoid being mounted?

Wyatt is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Wyatt moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Karaoglu wants to pass the guard but Wyatt is keeping the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Wyatt tries to score a power double leg takedown but Karaoglu sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Wyatt somewhat.
Karaoglu throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Wyatt shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Wyatt showed some decent athleticism there.

Wyatt is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Karaoglu doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Wyatt.
Wyatt tries to pass the half guard into mount. Karaoglu knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
We've been informed that Karaoglu has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Karaoglu misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Wyatt throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
