Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Martin Nejc!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Slant Grant!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yukihiro Shimada.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nejc throws a lazy uppercut
and Grant finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Grant lands a nice leg kick that just misses Nejc's sensitive parts.
Nejc throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Nejc thows a left - swing and a miss!
A head kick by Grant misses
and Nejc counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Grant throws a counter combo.
Grant looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Nejc throws a hook but Grant blocks it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A looping hook to the body misses from Nejc. Grant does a little dance to reset his feet.
Grant scores with a head kick.
Grant tries to move into range but Nejc moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nejc throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Grant.

and Nejc counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Nejc fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Grant looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Grant moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Nejc sends Grant crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Nejc is motioning to the referee to let Grant up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Grant is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Grant misses with a body kick.
Grant is still on wobbly legs! Can Nejc finish him?
Grant is aggressively charging in as Nejc backs up avoiding any damage. Nejc tosses out a jab and Grant runs right into it face first! Grant is out cold! Nejc dropped down on all fours and is barking in Grant's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Martin Nejc!
Martin Nejc decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
