Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lou Parisini (ranked 1050 p4p, 822 weight class) and Kaito Tanaka (ranked 135 p4p, 107 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Lou Parisini!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kaito Tanaka!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Santiago Holmes and David Hoff.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tanaka walks into a stiff left hand from Parisini.
Tanaka fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Parisini looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
A telegraphed right hand from Tanaka misses the target.
A slow jab from Parisini misses its intended target.
Parisini lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Tanaka bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Tanaka doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Tanaka uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Parisini.
Tanaka appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Parisini ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tanaka moves away.
A big right from Parisini misses.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Tanaka! But no joy.
The fighters circling - Tanaka throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Parisini misses with a body shot.
Parisini tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tanaka swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Tanaka let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Tanaka throws a big shot that misses.
Parisini definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Tanaka tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Parisini was well out of range. Poor timing from Tanaka.
Parisini changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A telegraphed right hand from Tanaka misses the target.
A counter left hand to the body from Parisini misses its target.
Decent striking displayed by Tanaka there.
Lou Parisini seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tanaka misses with a hook.
Parisini will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Tanaka! But no joy.
Parisini misses with a two punch combination.
Parisini misses with a body shot.
Parisini lands a two punch combo.
Parisini misses with a jab, cross combination.
Parisini slips a jab from Tanaka.
It looked like Parisini was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Tanaka.
Tanaka looks to throw the jab but Parisini is out of range.
Parisini cracks Tanaka with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Parisini misses the shot to the body.

Tanaka gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Parisini won't allow Tanaka to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Parisini thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Parisini drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Parisini seems to have locked his on tight now - Tanaka screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Parisini, as he picks up the win!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Lou Parisini!
Lou Parisini seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
