Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bennett Peck (ranked 1140 p4p, 1323 weight class) and Eli Vaughn (ranked 148 p4p, 168 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bennett Peck!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Eli Vaughn!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Santiago Holmes and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vaughn closes the distance and clinches up with Peck, looking for a takedown. Vaughn pushes Peck against the cage but Peck circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Peck lands a body shot.
Vaughn is trying hard to land a takedown here. Peck sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Vaughn has his takedown stuffed
letting Peck counter with a right hand.
Bennett Peck has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eli Vaughn.
Vaughn darts in looking for a takedown but Peck gets double underhooks and turns Vaughn into the cage.
Peck throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Vaughn on the side of the head.

and Peck counters with a straight right hand.

Peck has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Eli Vaughn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vaughn closes the distance and clinches up with Peck, looking for a takedown. Vaughn pushes Peck against the cage but Peck circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Nice uppercut there from Peck.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Peck misses with a looping left.
Vaughn avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Vaughn shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Peck pinned against the cage. Peck gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Horrible takedown attempt by Vaughn or perhaps it was just good defense by Peck, which made it look bad.
Peck throws a big shot that misses.
A slow jab from Peck misses its intended target.
Vaughn avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Vaughn ducks right into an uppercut from Peck.
Peck is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Vaughn closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Peck did well to prevent Vaughn getting side control.
Peck manages to escape and get back to his feet!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Vaughn fails with the takedown
and Peck counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Peck lands a big uppercut and Vaughn crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Vaughn looks OK. Peck waves Vaughn back to his feet!
A telegraphed right hand from Peck misses the target.
Vaughn with a poor takedown
and Peck counters with a big right hand! Oh Vaughn is in trouble here! Peck follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
