Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Renato Zeze!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kody Ruiz!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Peter Branson and Sandra Marshall.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruiz shoots in for a takedown but Zeze shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Zeze swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Ruiz moves out of range of the strikes.
Ruiz misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Zeze counters with a lovely straight right hand!

It looks like Kody Ruiz has been cut.
Zeze dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Ruiz walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Zeze throws a hook but Ruiz blocks it.
Ruiz falls off balance throwing a combination
enabling Zeze to counter with a crisp jab.
Ruiz defending well as Zeze loads up on a big left hand.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Zeze drops Ruiz with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Ruiz! Zeze dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!

A less than humble Renato Zeze misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
