Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Osama Bin Laden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlton Cage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Osama Bin Laden!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Carlton Cage!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Daniel Bishop and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bin Laden instigates a clinch.
Cage is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Cage wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Bin Laden has him pressed against the cage.
Cage being controlled against the cage.
Bin Laden blocking some punches.
Cage tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Bin Laden smiles and moves away.
Bin Laden uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Cage has time to react.
Bin Laden fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Bin Laden clinches.

Bin Laden drags the fight down to the ground.
Cage wants to control from the top but Bin Laden keeps moving.
Cage throws and elbow that misses. Bin Laden uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Cage's guard. Nice move by Bin Laden!

Cage looking for a sweep. Not yet Cage, not yet.
Cage not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Cage wants to sweep but no luck.
Bin Laden pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Cage is keeping the position for now.
Bin Laden is stalling in the full guard.
Cage is trying to keep Bin Laden in close.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Bin Laden shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Bin Laden was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Bin Laden pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Bin Laden takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Bin Laden seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Cage for as long as he can get away with.

Bin Laden is working for a kimura but Cage is defending it quite comfortably.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cage stuffs the takedown attempt from Bin Laden. Bin Laden gets slowly back to his feet.

Bin Laden looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Cage wants to sweep but no luck.
Bin Laden wants to stand but Cage is controlling his posture from full guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Cage is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Cage tries to pull guard but Bin Laden won't allow it.

Bin Laden breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Bin Laden has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Bin Laden will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Bin Laden avoids the attempt from Cage to control.
Bin Laden lands a heavy elbow.
Cage tries to improve his position but instead Bin Laden has taken his back!
Cage can't escape the position.
Bin Laden is riding his opponent, not letting Cage buck him off.
I really don't envy Cage right now.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Bin Laden just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bin Laden lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK.
Bin Laden is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Cage. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped.
Bin Laden is trying to stick to Cage's back but Cage is turning into Bin Laden. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Bin Laden's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Cage.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Osama Bin Laden dominated that second round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!


Horrible takedown by Bin Laden or perhaps it was just good defense by Cage which made him look bad.
Cage doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Cage takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Cage shoots in and drives through. Bin Laden sprawls well.
Cage misses with a takedown attempt
and Bin Laden counters with a one-two to the body.
Osama Bin Laden has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Carlton Cage.
Bin Laden throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Bin Laden is pressing down on Cage's thigh, looking to free his foot. Cage is holding on for now.
Bin Laden not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Bin Laden is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Cage preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.

Bin Laden prevents Cage from standing back up.
Bin Laden is nestled in close to Cage, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Bin Laden wants to take a breather but Cage is having none of it.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Bin Laden shoots for a takedown but Cage saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

and Bin Laden counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Cage moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Bin Laden gets to his feet. Cage looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Bin Laden keeps the fight on the outside.
Bin Laden fails in his attempt to clinch.
Cage throws a head kick but Bin Laden moves out of range.

Bin Laden drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Osama Bin Laden showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Bin Laden has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
