The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Blue doesn't succeed with the takedown and Trismegistus counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Trismegistus. Blue can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Trismegistus is looking to escape. Trismegistus keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Blue looking for the choke but no joy. Blue is trying to stick to Trismegistus's back but Trismegistus is turning into Blue. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Blue's guard. Trismegistus got a little sloppy there for a moment and Blue has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Trismegistus has managed to get both his arms back between Blue's legs - danger averted.
