Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hunter Gatherer (ranked 4737 p4p, 4837 weight class) and Hermo Tumask (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hermo Tumask is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Hermo Tumask!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Damien Edna and Chris Dean.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tumask closes the distance and clinches.

Tumask's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
A shot to the body from Gatherer misses
and Tumask counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Tumask looks to land a body kick but Gatherer moved away.
Tumask doesn't manage to clinch there - Gatherer circles away.
Gatherer was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Tumask uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Gatherer.

Tumask gets a takedown into half guard.
Gatherer definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Gatherer is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gatherer has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Tumask is working away from the top position though.
Gatherer wants to get back to full guard.

Tumask controlling the pace.
Gatherer is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Tumask passes into side control, despite Gatherer's attempt to control the position.
Gatherer tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Tumask tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Gatherer is trying to escape the position but Tumask is controlling the position.
Gatherer is trying to get back to half guard.
Gatherer is working hard here to advance position.
Gatherer can't do much from the bottom here.
Tumask tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Tumask postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Gatherer tries to bench press Tumask off him but Tumask keeps the position.

Tumask looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Gatherer is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Gatherer manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Gatherer is working for a submission of some sort.

Gatherer in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Tumask tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Gatherer!
