Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Debt Metal (ranked 2662 p4p, 2778 weight class) and Kane Williams (ranked 335 p4p, 350 weight class). Williams is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Bad to the Bone. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kane Williams!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Metal shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Williams is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Metal can't fight it off and eventually Williams manages to take the fight to the floor. Metal looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Williams accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

My spies in Catch Wrestling L.A. inform me that Williams has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Metal keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Williams fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Metal swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Debt Metal has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kane Williams.
Williams shoots for a double leg takedown but Metal sprawls well. He's pushed Williams's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Metal feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Williamss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Kane Williams showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's time! Metal's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

A looping hook to the body misses from Metal. Williams does a little dance to reset his feet.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Williams has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Metal after a bit of a struggle.

Metal lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Well Metal has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
