Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Steve Montenegro and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hanma pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Hanma fails to land the takedown.
Hanma throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around doughnuts's waist but doughnuts gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hanma off to one side.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hanma wants to control from the top but doughnuts keeps moving.
doughnuts bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hanma's guard.

Hanma is not content to let doughnuts control the position.
doughnuts wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Hanma, who protects the arm well.
doughnuts is breathing heavily.

Hanma is looking for a sweep.
Hanma can't do much from the bottom here.
Hanma throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

and doughnuts counters with a takedown into side control.

Hanma should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
doughnuts is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Hanma knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

The fighters are battling for position here. Hanma manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
doughnuts stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hanma swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Hanma had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. doughnuts is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Hanma Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take doughnuts's back instead.
Hanma keeps control of the position as doughnuts tries to break free.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

doughnuts is trying to defend against the choke here but Hanma has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Hanma Tightens the hold and doughnuts taps out furiously! Hanma displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
