Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Immagunna Filerup (ranked 23644 p4p, 22829 weight class) and Rafa Peziev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rafa Peziev is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Immagunna Filerup! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rafa Peziev! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Tiny Johnson and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Peziev shoots in for a takedown but Filerup shows good takedown defense. Filerup cracks Peziev with a right hand to the side of the head. Peziev shoots for a double leg takedown but Filerup sprawls well. He's pushed Peziev's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Filerup rushes Peziev and presses him up against the cage. Filerup wants the takedown. Peziev is fighting it off but Filerup persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Peziev's guard against the cage. Peziev has his foot on Filerup's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Filerup works his way back into a safe position though. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Filerup escapes and throws Peziev's legs to the side, diving into side control! The referee asks Filerup politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Filerup prefers to stall for the moment though. Peziev is trying to improve his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Peziev is still trying to improve position. Peziev felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. You can see the frustration on Peziev's face as Filerup controls the position. Peziev is looking to regain half guard here but Filerup keeps moving and retains side control. Peziev trying to remain calm as Filerup controls from the top position. Filerup has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Filerup is looking to take a break and control but Peziev is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Peziev is looking to regain half guard here but Filerup keeps moving and retains side control. Peziev is pushing Filerup's head away, looking to escape. Filerup manages to hold on to the position though. Peziev is trying to get back to half guard. Filerup happy to just control the position for now. Peziev tries to bench press Filerup off him but Filerup keeps the position. Filerup is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Peziev will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Peziev regains half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Peziev is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Filerup pulls his head out easily. Peziev is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Filerup's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Filerup's back! Peziev controlling well, preventing Filerup from escaping the position.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Rafa Peziev! Rafa Peziev decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
