Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Uzoh Victor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, DeMarcus Slice!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Stewart Dunkirk and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slice throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Victor comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Slice looks winded!
Victor misses the shot to the body.
Victor rushes Slice and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Victor is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Slice is defending well for now.
Slice is trying to pull guard but Victor has him pressed against the cage.
Slice prevents Victor from breaking the clinch.
Slice keeps control of Victor as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Victor wants to break the clinch but can't.
Victor gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Slice.
Victor escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Slice ducks under a wild hook from Victor.
Slice drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Victor defends it well.
Slice avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Victor grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Slice takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Victor cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Uzoh Victor!
