Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jimothy Sheffield (ranked 4192 p4p, 4022 weight class) and Spunk Guzzler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sheffield comes to the cage accompanied by Transportin'. Guzzler is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Black Balls. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Spunk Guzzler!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Bart Greer and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sheffield goes for a double leg but Guzzler avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Guzzler continues to drive forward.
Sheffield wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Guzzler has him pressed against the cage.
Sheffield tries to pull guard but Guzzler forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Guzzler gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Guzzler is looking to advance position but Sheffield won't allow it.
Guzzler with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Sheffield works his way to full guard. Good work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sheffield controls Guzzler momentarily but Guzzler frees himself.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Guzzler looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Sheffield is looking to improve his position.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Guzzler is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Sheffield sees it coming and defends easily.
Sheffield works his way to full guard. Good work.
Guzzler drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Guzzler jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Guzzler is working for a kimura here but Sheffield manages to reverse the position and he's now in Guzzler's guard.

Guzzler wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Sheffield postures up in Guzzler's guard and throws a big left but Guzzler blocks it.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Guzzler feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Sheffield is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Guzzler pulls his head out easily.
Guzzler seems to be working for a kimura but Sheffield defends the submission attempt.
Guzzler is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Sheffield is just riding it out for now. Guzzler eventually gives up the hold.

Guzzler landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Guzzler prevents Sheffield from improving his position.
Guzzler is taking a breather. Sheffield says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Let's hope that Guzzler has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Guzzler slips a nice elbow through Sheffield's hands, connecting with Sheffield's forehead.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Guzzler looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Sheffield strikes from the bottom but Guzzler uses the opportunity to move to side control.

Guzzler is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Sheffield is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Spunk Guzzler showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Guzzler decides to stand up, so the ref orders Sheffield to his feet.

Sheffield wants to get back to his feet but Guzzler passes into half guard.

Sheffield is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Sheffield has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.

Guzzler doesn't have the hooks in and Sheffield manages to turn into his guard.

Guzzler is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Sheffield is sitting in close to Guzzler's body. Guzzler has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Sheffield is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Sheffield is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Guzzler.
