Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kiniiiiii Kong (ranked 2363 p4p, 4217 weight class) and Don Hugo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Don Hugo!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hugo throws a right hand that misses
and Kong counters with a nice uppercut.

It looks like Don Hugo has been cut.
Hugo looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Hugo fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Hugo closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kong circles away.
Kiniiiiii Kong has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Don Hugo.
Hugo misses with a head kick.
It looked like Kong was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hugo darts in trying to clinch
and Kong counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Hugo misses with a takedown attempt
and Kong counters with a nice uppercut.
Nice sprawl there from Kong as Hugo shoots in.
Kong swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Hugo fails with the takedown
and Kong makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Hugo looks winded!

Kong looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Hugo darts in trying to clinch
and Kong counters with a lovely shot to the body.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kong avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

and Kong counters with a nice right hand that sends Hugo toppling to the canvas! Hugo scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Kong finish him?!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hugo tries to land a front kick but Kong steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Kong went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Hugo fails with the takedown
and Kong counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Hugo out cold! What a finish! Kong is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kiniiiiii Kong!
After winning the bout, Kiniiiiii Kong thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
