Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zé Jiurgite (ranked 2047 p4p, 1566 weight class) and Kemp Dennis (ranked 257 p4p, 204 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Dennis decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jiurgite's guard.

Dennis seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

It looks like Kemp Dennis has been cut.
Dennis dives in and grabs Jiurgite's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jiurgite pushes down on Dennis's head and hops out.

Dennis has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Dennis drives through with a takedown into guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Dennis's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Dennis content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Jiurgite has locked up a guillotine! Jiurgite's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Dennis is holding on here and Jiurgite must be using up a lot of energy. Dennis has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Jiurgite gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
