The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Kenichi Hosakawa and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Timo throws a looping overhand right but Raheem ducks down to avoid it.
Despite the aggression on Raheem's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
A jab from Timo misses.
Timo thows a left - swing and a miss!
Raheem unleashes a big counter combination but Timo bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Timo misses with a right hand
and Raheem connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Timo throws a poor cross that misses
and Raheem counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Raheem defending well as Timo loads up on a big left hand.
Timo misses the jab.
Timo throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Raheem blocks a jab.
Raheem lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Timo throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Raheem sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Raheem lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Raheem works Timo's body with a nice hook.

Timo throws a big shot that misses.
Timo is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Raheem's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

and Raheem cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Timo tries to clinch up but Raheem circles away and keeps his distance.
Raheem connects with a single shot there.
Timo throws out a loose jab but Raheem uses good head movement to avoid it.
Raheem is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Timo had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.

and Raheem counters with a straight right hand.
Raheem clobbers Timo with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Timo misses with a right hand
and Raheem counters with a stiff right hand.
Timo misses with an uppercut. Raheem saw that one coming.
Timo throws an off balance right hand
and Raheem counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Timo is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Raheem connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Timo covering up! Raheem comes in with a big uppercut and Timo goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.
