Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Big Boss (ranked 4022 p4p, 4111 weight class) and Miroslav Makhegov (ranked 0 p4p, 245 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Big Boss! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Miroslav Makhegov! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Makhegov drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Boss is letting Makhegov control him for a moment. Boss taking punishment in the form of punches.
Boss is looking for a sweep. Boss seems a little lost for a moment, as Makhegov dominates the positioning. Makhegov tries to stand but Boss is controlling his head.
That's one minute gone in the round. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Makhegov landing strikes. Makhegov slows the pace down. Boss regains half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Makhegov with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Makhegov tries to pass to full mount but Boss defends it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Makhegov takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Makhegov tries to pass the half guard into mount. Boss knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Boss slaps away a takedown attempt from Makhegov, before circling back to the center of the mat. Makhegov tries for a takedown but Boss sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Makhegov has Boss up against the cage in a clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Makhegov is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Boss is defending well. Big Boss has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Miroslav Makhegov. Boss is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Makhegov is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Boss can't fight it off and eventually Makhegov manages to take the fight to the floor. Boss looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Makhegov with a nice head shot there. Makhegov must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Boss looking to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Makhegov is stalling in the full guard. Boss is trying to control the position but Makhegov postures up. Makhegov trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Boss is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Makhegov has his hands clasped together but Boss extends and breaks Makhegov's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Boss.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Big Boss! Miroslav Makhegov was interviewed post fight and said 'That was a robbery, run it back now'.
