Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Willy Klarenet (ranked 4178 p4p, 4965 weight class) and Mike Tyson Tyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mike Tyson Tyson has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Willy Klarenet's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Willy Klarenet!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mike Tyson Tyson!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Daniel Franklin and David Hoff.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Klarenet fails with the takedown.
Tyson is looking to clinch but Klarenet is avoiding it.
Tyson doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Klarenet holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Klarenet has Tyson pressed against the cage, preventing Tyson from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Klarenet wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Tyson avoids a wild elbow strike from Klarenet.

Klarenet manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Klarenet has his foot on Tyson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Tyson works his way back into a safe position though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Klarenet seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Tyson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Klarenet. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Klarenet working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tyson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Tyson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Klarenet has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Klarenet has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Klarenet rushes Tyson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Klarenet lands with a left to the head.
Tyson is pressed up against the cage. Klarenet has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Tyson down to the mat. Tyson avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Klarenet keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Klarenet darts in looking for a takedown but Tyson gets double underhooks and turns Klarenet into the cage.
Klarenet wants to break the clinch but can't.

Tyson gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Klarenet is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Tyson presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Klarenet has Tyson pulled in close to control his posture.

Klarenet wants to sweep here but Tyson controlling him for the moment.
Tyson throws a strike but Klarenet rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Klarenet gets to his feet - Tyson follows without any prompting.

Klarenet has had enough of the clinch but Tyson keeps him there for the moment.

Klarenet has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Tyson uses from the top position.

Tyson tries to work over Klarenet's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
A frustrated look appears on Klarenet's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Tyson has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Klarenet after a bit of a struggle.
Klarenet is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

The referee is keeping an eye on Klarenet - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Tyson changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Tyson tries to score a body lock takedown but Klarenet shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Klarenet is pulling down on Tyson's head. It's preventing any offense from Tyson, at least for the moment.
Klarenet manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Tyson manages to get himself to full guard.

Tyson wants to hit a sweep here but Klarenet passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Tyson there!

Klarenet avoids the attempt from Tyson to control.
Klarenet is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Tyson can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

It looks like Mike Tyson Tyson has been cut.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Klarenet looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Tyson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Tyson wants it to stay on the feet.

Horrible takedown attempt by Tyson or perhaps it was just good defense by Klarenet, which made it look bad.

Klarenet comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Klarenet looks to land a combination. Tyson sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Klarenet closes the distance and pushes Tyson back into the cage.

Klarenet works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Klarenet is standing up over Tyson. Tyson looks to escape but Klarenet dives into side control.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Tyson looks to move to half guard but instead Klarenet has passed into mount! Damn!

Klarenet throws some wild stikes that Tyson manages to avoid easily.
Klarenet takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Klarenet has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Klarenet sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Klarenet tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Klarenet jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Tyson manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Tyson is letting Klarenet control him for a moment.

The strikes coming from Klarenet are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Klarenet in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Klarenet seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Tyson for as long as he can get away with.

Well Klarenet has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
