The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Despo throws out a loose jab but Tsering uses good head movement to avoid it.

Despo clinches up against the ropes.

Despo's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Despo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tsering manages to avoid it.
Tsering tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Tsering blocks a jab.

Despo gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Despo misses with a jab, cross combination.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It looks like Dechen Tsering has been cut.

Despo has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Despo jabs Tsering to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Despo feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Tserings jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Despo moves into the clinch successfully.

Despo breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Despo lands with a shot to the body.
No joy there for Despo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Tsering changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Tsering takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Despo lands a big uppercut and Tsering crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Tsering looks OK. Despo waves Tsering back to his feet!

Tsering is rocked!
Despo lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Tsering - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Despo!
