Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Colby Covigten!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Dean Styles and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Covigten tries to clinch up but Kay circles away and keeps his distance.
Covigten tries to bum rush Kay with a series of wild strikes but Kay uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Covigten keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Covigten tries to clinch but Kay is having none of it.

It looks like Ross Kay has been cut.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Covigten can do anything to dispel that myth.

Covigten really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kay. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Kay keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Covigten's head.
Kay postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Kay drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Kay as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Covigten screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Kay! Nice submission victory there!
