The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and George Francis.


The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
Wiener tries to close the distance and clinch but Strdoza swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

The fight stays on the outside here - Wiener looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Strdoza has control of Wiener's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Wiener regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Wiener is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Strdoza defends it well.

Our spies down at at Beating a Dead Horse to Death Again inform us that Strdoza has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?
Wiener really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Wiener content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Strdoza has locked up a guillotine! Strdoza's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Wiener is holding on here and Strdoza must be using up a lot of energy. Wiener has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Strdoza gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
