Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Erick Colonel (ranked 5400 p4p, 5419 weight class) and Ezikiel Construction Noise (ranked 512 p4p, 513 weight class). Ezikiel Construction Noise has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Erick Colonel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ezikiel Construction Noise!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Reed Andrews and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Construction Noise shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Construction Noise was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Construction Noise controls the position from side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Construction Noise's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Construction Noise prevents Colonel from escaping the position.
Construction Noise content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
It looks like Construction Noise might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Let's hope that Construction Noise has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Colonel stops Construction Noise from passing to mount.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Colonel throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Construction Noise.

Construction Noise throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Colonel tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Construction Noise is in Colonel's guard.
Construction Noise not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Colonel has control of Construction Noise's left arm, preventing Construction Noise from doing any damage.
Construction Noise stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Colonel swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Colonel wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Construction Noise manages to pass to side control.
Colonel looks like he's trying to stand up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Construction Noise seems to be looking for submissions.
Construction Noise looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Construction Noise defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Colonel.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Construction Noise shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Colonel wants to stand back up but Construction Noise manages to pass into side control.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Colonel fails with a takedown attempt.
Colonel throws a head kick but Construction Noise moves out of range.
Construction Noise closes the distance and clinches up with Colonel, looking for a takedown. Construction Noise pushes Colonel against the cage but Colonel circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Construction Noise shoots in and drives through. Colonel sprawls well.
Colonel pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Colonel shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Erick Colonel is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Construction Noise drives through with a takedown into guard.
Construction Noise stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Colonel swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Colonel is trying to control the position but Construction Noise postures up.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Construction Noise closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Construction Noise is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Colonel will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Construction Noise decides to stand back up.

Nice takedown defense from Construction Noise. No joy for Colonel on that attempt.

Construction Noise has taken the fight to the clinch.
Construction Noise has Colonel pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Colonel manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Construction Noise is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Construction Noise isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Colonel stacks Construction Noise on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Colonel!

Colonel decides to stand back up. Colonel steps back and let's Construction Noise get back to his feet.

Construction Noise takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Ezikiel Construction Noise will probably get the nod - 10:9.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Colonel tries to clinch up but Construction Noise circles away and keeps his distance.
Construction Noise shoots for a double leg takedown but Colonel sprawls well. He's pushed Construction Noise's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Erick Colonel has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Ezikiel Construction Noise comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
