Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Fernando Antonelli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julio Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Fernando Antonelli!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Seu Braga and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cruz gets caught flat footed, as Antonelli shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Antonelli tries to stand but Cruz is controlling from the bottom.
Cruz throws some shots to the body, keeping his opponent honest.
Cruz had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Antonelli is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Cruz Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Antonelli's back instead.

That was a close second round but I would say that Fernando Antonelli will probably get the nod.

Antonelli is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Antonelli is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Cruz couldn't care less - he's delighted!
