Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Giacomo Bandolero (ranked 1927 p4p, 1867 weight class) and Mad Hatter (ranked 148 p4p, 142 weight class). Bandolero's entrance music is Bandolero. A fine choice. Giacomo Bandolero has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 10 - 16 - 0, fighting out of London, Giacomo Bandolero! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 16 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mad Hatter! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Andrew Berry and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bandolero uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Hatter. A punch combination from Bandolero misses. Hatter misses the jab. Bandolero throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Hatter slaps away a takedown attempt from Bandolero, before circling back to the center of the mat. Hatter misses with a low kick. A looping hook to the body misses from Bandolero. Hatter does a little dance to reset his feet. A combination from Hatter does no damage. Bandolero scores with a one two! Hatter had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Bandolero drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bandolero is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Hatter has escaped the position, nice work there. Hatter regains half guard, as Bandolero was trying to land strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Bandolero lands a nice short elbow. Bandolero has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Hatter wants to get back to his feet.
Bandolero is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hatter is just riding it out for now. Bandolero eventually gives up the hold. Hatter looks like he's trying to stand up.
Bandolero looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Hatter with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Bandolero will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Hatter tries to kick Bandolero off but Bandolero keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Bandolero lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bandolero trying to control the action but Hatter is working from the bottom. Bandolero is nestled in close to Hatter, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Bandolero looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Hatter is trying to stand back up but Bandolero is controlling him
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bandolero connects with a nice short shot to Hatter's temple. Bandolero stops Hatter from getting back to his feet.
Bandolero is trying to control. Hatter wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Hatter is trying to stand up here but Bandolero is controlling him well. Bandolero working the head and body with strikes. Hatter is trying to stand up here but Bandolero is controlling him well. Bandolero perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bandolero thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Hatter's head. Hatter is trying to stand.
Hatter keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bandolero controlling the action here. Hatter is not content to let Bandolero control the position. Bandolero sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Hatter defending well though. Hatter is trying to escape back to his feet but Bandolero uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Hatter wants to get back to his feet. Bandolero tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bandolero has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hatter is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Bandolero is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Hatter is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bandolero looks up at the clock and then as Hatter takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Bandolero smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Hatter is trying to escape and get back to his feet. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bandolero works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Bandolero wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Hatter, who protects the arm well. Bandolero grinds an elbow into Hatter's temple. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Giacomo Bandolero dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Bandolero darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Hatter wants to get back to his feet.

Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Bandolero is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hatter is trying to stand back up but Bandolero is controlling him
